  1. Hmm, do you want a bot farming tool so you can do other things while it gathers loot? That is the intention of CGB.

    There is a manual search button that will do most of what you want, and SC already has the count down timer showing?

    If you want more than that, suggest you learn to write some AutoIt code to make MOD, as that is the beauty of open source.

    Pass on this idea, will leave it for the community to create.

  2. The only reason that the Bot crashes when smart attack starts, is if you have not properly loaded the prerequisite software as listed on the download page.

    Make sure that you have the proper >NET V4.5 and C++ 2010 installed.

    If you have numerous C++ and .NET versions installed already, then there may be a conflict with an old/new version.

    Remove them ALL, reboot, and then re-install the ones needed for the Bot to work.

  3. Sorry you have an issue.

    1st - Once BS refused to load error happens, the PC needs to be rebooted and all the other errors are garbage and a crash is inevitable.  

    So you need to fix the BS refusing to load problem.

    There have been 1-2 others posting with this issue, and to be honest we have not been able to replicate it.

    All the other posts have been just like yours, there is no usable data to help diagnose what happened. :(

    Absolutely need to know:

    What is on the display when the log says - "serious error has occurred, please restart pc and try again,   bluestacks refuses to load, waited 256 seconds"

    Does a BS window exist?  If BS window exist: what does the BS window look like?  Did CoC not load properly?

    Since this error happens at random time, It will be hard to watch the screen.  To help get the data needed to see what is happening, I made a special OpenBS function to save a desktop image if the error happens.  Please download it below, and replace your current file.  Be sure to recompile the exe or start the bot  by using right click and run script.

    Once you get an image of what is happening you can post it here using imgur (be sure to block out any identifying names if on the screen).  Also post the log text for when the error openBS error occurs as there are additional log messages in this one as well.

    PS - This file does not "fix" anything.  It only collects more data to help us understand.  So unless you are also having this error, no need to download the file.

    The team appreciates your admiration! BUT: No one on the CGB wants to post personal details in these forums.

    Why?

    1) We have too many strange people in the world and we do not need them finding us.

    2) SC would immediately ban the entire CGB team if they learned our personal information.

    3) The money hungry competitors in the CoC bot world are constantly trying to stop our growth; example they regularly DDOS the website to try to knock us offline.

    So I'm sorry, we can not share any information.

  5. This forum section was created for community members to post ideas and suggestions on possible new capabilities or feature additions for the CoC bot. We have collected YEARS of great ideas and have a huge backlog. :D:

     

    Please read the previous suggestion posts before making a new thread with your splendid new idea, as most likely 2-3 people have already suggested it.  Any new suggestion threads that are duplicates of previous posts will be rejected and/or deleted with zero explanation.

    The development team may or may not answer threads in this forum, but all of them get read.

     

    Even if you have the worlds greatest suggestion, it still takes time to write code, debug, test and make sure it is reliable. Since the entire development team works part time on evenings and weekends, it can take MONTHS before even the best ideas are released as new features. The board rules specifically prohibit thread bumping, so please don't get impatient and bump a suggestion unless you want a warning.

    Comments on the Backlog below:

    Even if a suggestion/idea is listed, that does not mean it will ever be coded or released. It only means it is on the list.

     

    Every item on this list has same priority, so the order on the list means nothing.

    Backlog:

    • Major Clean up - remove all old unused code/variables, improve standardization, better organize the chaos.  (On Going)
    • User customizable troop training order in GUI (Done)
    • Base statistics saved in profile
    • Wiki Manual for Bot (exists - Need volunteer staff editors!)
    • User selectable days added to existing time settings for donation, request, and Drop CC
    • Detect maintenance breaks and adjust wait time to restart bot (Done)
    • Add dark troop tombstone to tombstone clearing option
    • Add configuration to army composition for Loonion attack  (Attack CSV)
    • Add image search for air defenses to enable smart air attacks (Done)
    • Improve TH detection accuracy  (Done)

    Suggestions/Ideas desired, attempted and rejected until a miracle solution is found:

    • Add weak base image search for buildings being upgraded
    • Map wall locations to avoid TH Snipe of TH behind walls, and collectors behind walls
    • Add weak base image search for walls (code available, but too slow to be practical during attacks)
    • Anything involving detection of troops on the map (not enough pixels to reliably detect)
    • Add detection for poor internet connection and adjust bot timing for delays in SC server response
    • Removal of trees, shrubs, rocks, bushes, mushrooms, gem box, or any other obstacle.  (Done - can remove some obstacles that proved reliable to find)
    • Automatic Revenge check mode
    • Use of local or global statistics to adjust bot settings to improve farming efficiency
    • Change user options while the bot is running or paused without needing to stop/change/start. (active code in GUI can create errors that require PC reboot)
    • Add default custom army training/spells/deployment for complicated attacks such as GoWiPe, GoWiWi, or GoWiWiPe. (Done - AttackCSV feature)
    • Automatic change to English language
    • Add SQLite database for attack tracking (Done)
    • Local language OCR for different servers (Requires too many images)
    • Auto drop/remove Clan Castle dark spells for Sharing is Caring achievement (Done)

      • Don't delete troops after each attack
      • Don't train archers if army camps won't be full

      • Sandbox or practice war attacks
      • Custom war only donations while farming
      • Custom attack plan creation for later playback
    • Experience growth via massive donations; including:
      • Donate mostly code for Request and Leave clans
      • Automatic user accept and kick functions (I.E. GTFO clans)
      • Clan find/join/donate/leave or clan hopping functions
    • Experience growth via Goblin village attacks
    • Using spells in normal dead base attack (not efficient for farming, AttackCSV is available)
    • Custom troop training based on clan chat requests
    • Database with attack success/failure by base layout
    • Custom modes to automatically get achievement gems:
      • Auto trophy push mode
      • Auto wall buster
      • Attack builder huts
      • Fast Donating, etc
    • Auto posting/spamming anything into Local or Global chat (includes Friendly Challenges, clan invites, clan advertising)
    • Any feature that requires customization of Bluestacks internal default files (CSV or otherwise)
    • Conversion of the bot to run on Apple Mac without the need for Windows OS
    • Convert AutoIt code into APK to run native on Android
    • Automatic search with user notification timers/alarms for manual attack (Auto search/manual attack already exists)
    • Automatically accept players that meet criteria
    • Copy base layouts
    • Attack statistics upload into online database and provide comparison on website (High cost to support entire community - requires monthly charge)
    • GenyMotion emulator support (attempted - has bad lag issues even on fast PC)

     

    And there you have it, the current Bot development plan.

  7. Interesting idea.

    How would the bot find the builders if you can not?

    The builders are always moving so they can not be found easily image search.

    The rope barricades placed around stuff being upgraded is way to small, and usually too low on the building to be seen and easily blocked by other objects.

    The open source Image detection used can only do 10% of what the human eye can do. It can not reliably see the builders.

    As nice as it would be to have this, rejected as possible new feature.

  8. The standard drop trophy function during farming ONLY works after the bot has successfully attacked.

    It will not drop trophy when started. So if you let it attack once, then when it has a new army, it will start dropping to the value set.

    The only function that will drop trophy without attacking 1st is unbreakable mode.

    Unbreakable settings are fully explained the how to section.

    Find an elegant way to fix the issue. :)

    For V4.2 I was working on expanding the capabilities of early detection of the forced Take-A-Break messages to include idle time (training, donating, collecting, etc). The OCR characters developed to check for the idle time warning message, has the right characters to see part of the full storages messages as well. The OCR takes a few hundred milliseconds, so I added a small wait loop that checks until the text is faded out. Most users will not even notice the extra time. But if you have full storages, the collect code is forced to wait for the red text to clear before heading into the next function. Will release next version.

  10. V4.1 is not the latest. V4.1.1 is the latest version.

    Need to try download and unzip into a new directory that has been excluded from your virus software (in case it is deleting files)

    Do not move, rename, or delete any files in the new folder.

    If you are using teamviewer you also need to remove the quick connect feature from inside the TV settings.

    There are many posts on this issue you can search and find.

    Have learned that the donation side of the balanced D/R feature was not included in the code (yet). :(

    If added, this would theoretically only let your donation ratio exceed the user set ratio one donation run per attack cycle?

    Hopefully we can get this omission fixed in next version.

  12. Interesting suggestion, very similar to others here. You want to a way to make troops for war while you bot.

    Management of 2 different sets of troops for different purposes is very difficult and can create all kinds of issues for the uneducated if implement with a simple hack code feature to remove one barrack from the farming army as you can not remove any camp space.

    The developers have not interest in writing code that makes the bot even more complicated for farming use.

    Suggested rejected and left to the user community to possibly create a mod for the brave to use.

  13. Interesting suggestion.

    Not hard to make.

    To support individual barracks with separate time setting is huge burden on GUI space. The extra space is not practical in current GUI without creating yet another tab for time management, or finding a new way to make it simpler.

    Suggestion not rejected, but very low priority in the feature backlog unless some developer decides to make it his pet project.
